In a 10-meter-long room that once served as a shared space, we designed The LEGO Lab — a project that transformed the layout into both a pre-teen boy’s bedroom and a shared entertainment room for him and his sister.

The centerpiece is a set of large cupboards dividing the room, designed to display his LEGO collection on one side and create a playful chalkboard wall on the other. This chalkboard doubles as the backdrop for the entertainment area, where friends gather for movies, video games, or even workouts on the wall-mounted gym feature.

On the bedroom side, a bunk bed makes sleepovers with friends a highlight, while a functional desk supports schoolwork and projects. Dedicated space was also planned for his hobbies — soccer and guitar — ensuring the room feels personal, flexible, and inspiring.
