I'm a typical Virgo addicted to organizing, candles, home fragrances, and spotless rooms (which is not always the case), I love the beach, my family, and my two cats (Marie and Polly).

I have always been interested in manual, creative, and artistic works. By choosing Fashion Design education, I started having contact with textile materials, creation techniques, and the development of various products that enabled me to create differentiated pieces.

I worked for seven years in the clothing confection area, developing collections, planning productions, and promoting the brand. For this reason, every six months, I followed up and studied trends which led me to specialize in Cool hunting and Trends with a focus on Branding and Marketing by ESPM in São Paulo.

My passion for the pattern industry came from realizing that in this area it was possible to express my ideas, creativity, essence, and interpretation of world trends, especially about the customer’s needs and desires. I took a course in Textile Pattern Design at the University Belas Artes in São Paulo, which gave me a more technical and conceptual view of the process.

When I moved to Switzerland in 2014 I started to learn about local culture and customs, leading me to found Flying Bubbles, where I used to produce and sell handmade bath products. However, the desire to work with patterns and fabrics has always remained alive. Then in February 2018, I launched Sommerwies, designing and producing exclusive cushion covers and baby blanket sets.

In 2020 I decided to transform my passion for Interior Design into something more, so I started studying and specializing in this area. At the end of my studies, I changed the name of Sommerwies to Carol Fusteros Interior Design and since then, together with my clients we have been creating unique spaces that reflect their essences and bring coziness to their everyday lives.
